This self-initiated project uses the inherent properties of industrial timing belts to make opening jars a quick and easy process. The belt’s teeth, rubber back and reinforcements interlock with a simple moulding to create an effective domestic & industrial wrench.

Two versions have been produced: a ribbed design for light workshop use and a domestic version that has been licensed to Prestige PLC. This product won the Nat-West LENTA innovation award.
